How do I know if my order was placed successfully?


After you place an order, you will receive an email notification to the email address you provided while placing the order. Please check your junk/spam folder in case our communication was filtered.

Can I cancel or modify an order once it has been placed?

To cancel or modify an order please contact us via chat or at experience@essenci.fr and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

How do I update my billing and shipping information?

When you place your order, you can create an account with us and you can login to change your data at any time.  If your order has already shipped and you need to change the delivery address, please contact us on the chat or at experience@essenci.fr and we will respond to you within 24 hours.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, GooglePay and ApplePay.

What types of currency do you accept?

US and Canadian Dollars on this site. To pay in Euros, please go to essenciskincare.fr, and to pay in British Pounds, please go to essenciskincare.uk.

When am I billed for my order?

For products that are available in stock or in process at our atelier and laboratory, you will be billed immediately. For products that are not yet available you will be placed on the waiting list and notified when it is available.

Do you offer discounts or promo codes that I can use on my order?


Please sign up for our mailing list in order to be informed of any promotions and be sure to follow us on Instagram (@essenci).

What happens if my payment gets declined?

Please check to make sure all the shipping and billing information is accurate. Sometimes your bank may require an authorization on your part as we are a French company and it may be flagged as a “foreign transaction”. If the issue persists, please contact us via chat or at experience@essenci.frand a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

How do I check the status of my order?

You will receive a notification when your order is placed and a tracking number when it is shipped.

Shipping and handling

Do you offer complimentary shipping?

Yes, shipping is complimentary on all purchases.

How soon after my order is placed will I receive the tracking information?

Once an order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. Please check your junk/spam folder in case our communication was filtered. We do our best to dispatch items within 2 business days. Weekends and holidays are not considered business days.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

We do our best to dispatch items within 2 business days. The final delivery time is dependent on the carriers shipping schedule, but is usually within 2 business days. So it will take 4 days on average to receive your order

Will I have to sign for my purchase?

We usually ship without a signature requirement, but if you wish to have a signature on delivery, please contact us via chat or experience@essenci.fr and we will be glad to assist you.

What is the return policy?

We do not accept returns per se. If you have a problem with the product, please contact us via chat or experience@essenci.fr and we will be glad to assist you.

The majority of our ingredients are sourced from the South of France and neighboring areas.

Are your products vegan?

No, our products feature both honey and beeswax.

Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes, all our products are cruelty-free.

Are your products oil-free?

No, each of our products feature unique essential oil blends.

Are your products fragrance-free?


Our products do not have any added or synthetic fragrance. The fragrance found in our products are those that are naturally occurring from our essential oil formulations. Each of our products has its own blend of aromatherapeutic benefits. Please see our product description pages to read more about these benefits.

Are your products organic?

Yes, our products are eco-certified organic.

Are your products synthetic?

No, our products are not synthetic. We have listed our Non Essentials as ingredients that are not found in any of our products. Please read more here.

Do your products contain GMO, mineral oil, formaldehyde, parabens or artificial dyes?

What certifications and seals of approval do your products have?

All our products are eco-certified organic by ecocert and confirm to the French cosmetics regulations, which are some of the most stringent in the world and includes vigorous testing and analysis.

Are your products safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding?


Our founder used her products while she was pregnant and breastfeeding. The products have gone an evaluation for toxicology according to French regulations, and are safe for use for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers following the instructions for use.

How should I store my products and how long do they last?

All our products can be stored at room temperature. It is advisable to keep them away from direct sunlight. The products retain their maximum potency in the first 6 months after opening them.

Is your packaging recyclable or sustainable?

Yes, our products are both recyclable and sustainable. We have chosen porcelain jars as an alternative to plastic. They are also refillable. Please be sure to recycle our shipping boxes and interior packaging materials.
